All of these packages will register new sounds for your Newton. Various programs like our ChatBuddy, our programmers tool PackageBeeper, and the built in Newton Alarms let users select from the registered sounds for different notices. Adding one of these packages will extend the number of sounds you can choose.

Animal Sounds this 100k package contains a variety of short animal noises.

BuiltIn Sounds this 2k package adds sounds, built in to the Newton, to the list of sounds you can use. Like the Extras opening, an item getting trashed, the hilite sound and more.

Chat Sounds this 22k package contains Chat sounds used in our ChatBuddy IRC client. The sounds are currently swiped from Ircle, a great IRC program for Mac.

eWorld Sounds this 261k package contains all of the sounds from eWorld. A trip down nostalgia row!

Hal Sounds this 170k package contains sound clips of 'Hal' talking. From the movie 2001.

Mac Sounds this 18k package contains the basic set of Macintosh System 7 sounds. It's also nice if you are chatting with Mac users and want to hear the sounds they are playing.

Princess Bride Sounds this 240k package contains a number of samples from the movie 'Princess Bride'.

Ren & Stimpy Sounds this 150k package contains a collection of sound clips from the Ren & Stimpy show.
